Do regular male viewers of x-rated movies prefer fake breasts to naturally well-endowed breasts?

Female pornstars tend to be masculinized women, and my contention is that this is because feminine women are less likely to do porn and among those who are willing, they are less likely to engage in the more disinhibited sexual acts.  This explains why a number of masculinized female pornstars are popular among heterosexual male customers of porn.  However, commentator “Whipped honey” insists that the explanation is that the customers are interested in the masculinization of the women.  My response is that breasts implants are common among pornstars and reflect the fact that the customers want to see feminine women but the pornographers are not very successful in obtaining them and hence resort to fake femininity.  Whipped honey’s rebuttal is:

Toward the end of March, 2007, New Woman magazine reported the following from a survey of about 5,000 women.  In this survey, 58% of women believed that men find size zero sexy!  Must read facts for these women:

Art depicting feminine beauty

Showcasing feminine and attractive women does a good job of educating people, especially feminists, about male heterosexual preferences.  However, it is human to have shortcomings/flaws.  Therefore, art depicting feminine beauty is an especially useful tool for understanding heterosexual male fantasy.  An art section, primarily meant as an educational resource for feminists, has been added to the site.  Feminists should go through this section and hopefully learn that blaming heteropatriarchy for the selection of skinny high-fashion models is worse than barking up the wrong tree.

“Beauty is good” vs. “ugliness is bad”

This is a follow-up on an entry addressing discrimination against unattractive women, and features a paper discussing whether beauty or unattractiveness has a stronger effect on how one is judged by others with respect to how helpful one is (altruism), how smart one is (intelligence) and how likely one is to have friends and be popular (sociability).  The general find, also reported earlier, is that adults and children judge not so much in terms of beauty being good but in terms of unattractiveness being bad.

Discrimination against unattractive women

This site aims to promote feminine beauty.  If it had a significant impact, a possible undesirable side effect could be increased discrimination against women that are not feminine and attractive.  The webmaster of looksaware.com, a new site aiming to combat discrimination against unattractive individuals, contacted me about issues related to the promotion of feminine beauty, and I agree with him that the discrimination issue needs to be addressed, especially in light of the scope of this feminine beauty site.

Feb 6, 2008– Martin Voracek and Maryanne Fisher are well-known researchers of women’s attractiveness.  Here is another useless study by them, on adult media actresses.  Comments later.

Feb 4, 2008 – This new column will be for temporary news items, studies pointed out before being addressed in more detail, and notification of miscellaneous changes made to the site.

Two other significant site changes have been made.  The home page now includes a description of site structure and how to access this site’s contents if it is offline or inaccessible.  The “solutions” page is now labeled “what to do” and includes a discussion of boycotts that will work.
